REVERSE THE CURSE
A Limited Time Ticket Discount
It's well known among Seattle producers that theatre-goers often wait until the final weeks of any production to finally buy their tickets. Since the inception of Strawshop in 2004, we have routinely sold 75% of our tickets over the course of our final six performances.
On the left are graphs showing actual sales of popular Strawshop shows at the Erickson Theatre. Shows like Leni, The Elephant Man, Lady Day, and The Laramie Project. What these charts all have in common is a huge surge in ticket sales in the last two weeks.
We call this audience procrastination, and we mean to end it this September on our production of Breaking the Code.
Between now and Labor Day, Strawshop aims to REVERSE THE CURSE of audience procrastination. To this end, we are offering any tickets to the first nine performances of Breaking the Code for just $10. That's just one-third of the regular price ($30).
To take advantage of this special offer, go to Brown Paper Tickets and select a date between Sep-9 and Sep-25. When the price page appears, enter the password CURSE and the special price will appear.
This is a limited time offer, and will not be available after the show has opened. Do it today... don't procrastinate.
